Muroor (Saudi Traffic Authority) has created a mechanism to obtain driving license in KSA. In which the first task is to book driving license appointment through Absher.
This appointment takes you to the driving training school to introduce you to Saudi traffic laws and provide you with the necessary driving training.

How To Book driving license appointment
Below is the procedure to take driving license appointment in Absher,
- Visit the portal https://absher.sa
- Login with your Absher username and password
- Click on “My Services“
- Click on “Traffic“
- Click on “Issue Driving License“
- Select one of these two options
- For Dallah driving school appointment : Select “التدريب في مدارس تعليم القيادة: طلب تدريب مبتدئ في القيادة (30) ساعة” – “Novice driving training (30) hours”
- To book for driving test in order to avoid lengthy training sessions, select “التدريب في مدارس تعليم القيادة: تقييم القيادة لمن لديه مهارة (متقدم – متوسط – مبتدئ)” – “Assessment of driving skills”
- Select the “Region” (see details below)
- Now select the driving school branch and the city
- Select the date and time (Read more below)
- On the next page, read the appointment details and click on “Confirm Appointment Details”
- Click on “Print” to get the hard copy of the appointment.
That’s it, you have successfully booked driving license appointment in Absher.
Dallah driving school appointment
The procedure to book Dallah driving school appointment is same as described above. If you are completely new and don’t have any driving experience then driving training is very important for you.
If you are novice driver, the duration of the training is 30 hours and you are given proper theoretical and practical driving training.
However if you know the driving at some level (beginner, intermediate) you will have a driving test. The duration of the training will be determined according to your driving skills.

Errors While Selecting Training School
You may see this message while choosing the training school;
“sorry, there are no appointment available for booking at this point of time, please try again later.”
If you see this message, just change the training school and select another. But if you want to go to the same school in any case, then try to get the appointment after a few hours or even on the next day.
Book Appointment For Driving License Renewal
The procedure to renew driving license is bit different as you don’t need to go through any training process. However, it also starts by taking an appointment.
This time you have to book muroor appointment and go to the traffic police office on the selected date and time, and also a visit to efada approved medical center. After that, just follow the procedure required for renewal process.
