In a recent move, The authorities have banned hospital workers to wear tight dresses and doing makeup while performing the duties in Saudi Arabia. The workers are instructed to follow the conservative dress code .
Okaz, a Saudi renowned newspaper reported on Monday that the workers in the health facilities are also advised not to wear see-through dresses, full make-up, and any other such dress that is against the dress code.
The workers are also instructed and banned from wearing such outfits and taking images, posting videos on social media, or doing any activity clearly violating the rules.
The authorities also banned to display hairdos, donning hats, or wearing makeup, the newspaper added.
Directives have been made to primary health care managers and department heads at hospitals to ensure female and male workers’ compliance with the dressing regulations and exclude the violators, the sources said.
Health workers are required to sign a related formal notice for compliance, they added.
