Saudi Arabia is developing a vaccine against Coronavirus and is about to make an announcement, A medical expert revealed.
The latest data has pointed out that the new cases are getting under control in the Kingdom. Dr Hatem, deputy president of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Taibah University, has revealed that the current epidemiological curve indicates that Saudi Arabia will reach the stage of stability by the end of April.
The mobility of the people has been limited due to the strict measure and actions taken by the Saudi Authorities. That is playing a significant role in preventing the spread of the pandemic.
Adding the comments, Dr Hatem said that the virus doesn’t enter the body through the hand or skin unless one touches a contaminated surface and then touches his nose, mouth or eyes.
There is no use of gloves if one uses and then rubs his nose with the same gloves.
“What is the use of gloves if someone touches a contaminated surface and then wipes his or her nose, mouth or eyes, he or she would definitely catch the virus, Dr Hatem explained.
“Even though there is a rise in the cases of the new coronavirus, we find that the number of infections among the health practitioners is very small, and eventually the infection control has been evolved,” he added.
However, Coronavirus continues its advancement with 2523 victims in Saudi Arabia as well as the recoveries are continuously growing. The number of recoveries stands at 551 now. While 38 deaths have been confirmed.
