How To Change Iqama Profile Picture Through Absher

You can change your Iqama profile picture by using the Abhser web portal. First, log in to your account, make an appointment at the Jawazat office, Provide fingerprints, take a new picture, and print new Iqama.

Reason to change the picture on iqama

In KSA you have to stay up to date regarding your documents otherwise you may face difficulties. The sole reason to change the picture on Iqama is to avoid recognition issues so you have to change it for yourself and as well as for your children. Followings are few reasons,

Damaged iqama, hence the image part is not visible properly.
If the picture is blurred.
Matching difference between the current appearance and profile picture on iqama.

Steps to change the picture

The photo is first captured and set on your Iqama while entering Saudi Arabia when you cross the immigration desk. Follow the steps to change the current image present on Iqama in KSA.

Login to your Absher account https://absher.sa/
On the dashboard look for the Residents Service.
In the resident service menu book Jawazat appointment.
Visit the Jawazat office and go to the desk where the camera is set.
Explain the reason to the officer and give your iqama.
Then, provide your fingerprints for confirmation of identity.
After that, the officer will capture a new picture of your iqama.
Submit the iqama with the old photo.
Now, move on to the other desk to get a print of the updated iqama.

Change Iqama picture for children

Contact Mandoob (Government person) to change it. Otherwise,
Take an appointment at Jawazat and visit with the original documents.
Follow the same procedure for children as well to change the iqama profile picture using Absher.

However, there is another way to change the Iqama picture. Request the immigration officer at the desk to change the picture on iqama of children while traveling to/from some other country. Give him a solid reason and he will immediately replace the old picture with the new one.
