Check iqama Profession Online
The very first method, you can easily use is accessing the Absher portal. Furthermore, You can check profession change status as well by this method. If you have applied for that, then using the portal can confirm if the Jawazat has updated the information or not.
- Open Absher app or Web Portal.
- Now login to your account.
- On the main page, click on your picture or the Dashboard. It will take you to the user profile
- The user profile opens. And, it contains all the details including the occupation.
2nd Method- Check Mehna – Iqama Profession Without Absher
Do you know that the mehna is in your pocket? Yes, the Jawazat prints the profession on your iqama. In fact, It is the actual work for that you are hired. However, you may be doing something else. For example, one may be working as an engineer, but the iqama profession is a technician.
Whenever the authorities raid a workplace, they check it. If someone is not working as per his designation mentioned on iqama, they impose a fine immediately. So, you must ask the sponsor to change it according to the job you are working on.
Now, pull your wallet, grab your iqama, and look at it.
You can clearly observe that the iqama profession is available on the card. But, it is in Arabic. If you know the language and the meanings, it’s good. But if you are willing to check it in the English language then using the Absher portal suit you.
