Absher registration consists of 2 parts; Firstly, Registration on Absher portal and, then Activation. You can do Absher sign up in 2 ways; Through Absher portal and, by using Absher machines.
After the account registration on Absher, you need to activate the account in order to get full access to the Absher portal.
You can activate Absher account by visiting Absher machines located near you or, by visiting any atm machine if you already have a bank account and also by visiting STC and Mobily customer care centers.
Keep in mind that Absher registration is a mandatory procedure for every expatriate resident living in Saudi Arabia, KSA. As per the new rules, you need to register as soon as you receive the Iqama.
In addition to that, the Absher platform provides more than 300 services to residents and citizens online. You can renew your passport, or driving license, or make an appointment in Ahwal Madni, etc.
Absher Registration Process
Absher registration is quite easy and takes only a few minutes. However, if you are new in KSA then, the very first step for opening or creating a new Absher account is obtaining an iqama. Once you obtain it then, just follow the simple steps given below.
Step-1. First of all, click on the link to open Absher online portal.
Step-2. Now select ” Individuals” and select the language to English.
Step-3. Tap on “New User”
Step-4. The User Registration form will open. Enter your Iqama number. Then, enter your mobile number. It is better to perform a sim check to make sure that the number is on your iqama. Moreover, you can change mobile number for Absher login anytime.
- Choose a username and password. For password, it should be a minimum of eight characters and, must contain a Capital Letter, and a digit. (e,g. Mobtd453).
Please note: For security purposes, it is better not to use your iqama number in the password. In addition to that, the Absher system will not accept the password if it contains more than four continuous digits of your iqama number.
- Provide a valid email address and set the language ( Arabic / English) of your choice. Enter the Captcha code and tick “Agree to the terms of Use and Privacy Policy.” You might receive emails from Absher in the future.
Step-5. You will receive a ‘Verification Code’ on your mobile number. Enter it and click on Register. You may not receive the code if the sim is not registered under your name.
Final step. Follow the onscreen instructions and Finish the Registration Process.

To fully use the service, the next step is the activation of the Absher Account. The process is easy, and you can enable the Absher account using several methods. I am providing you all Absher activation methods.
Step 2. Absher Account Activation
For Absher account activation, there are multiple online methods. In the first method, you can use your bank account, and within a few minutes, you can activate the account. I am providing the details on how to use your bank account to activate Absher immediately.
Moreover, if you are unable to activate your account through banking channels, I am providing the locations of Absher machines. Visit any of them that is near to your location and activate the Absher account within few minutes.

If you have a bank account, you can easily activate the Absher account online. All banks in Saudi Arab are providing Absher activation Service through this method.

NCB Bank (Al Ahli) Account holders can activate Absher Account using any of the following methods.
Absher Activation Using ALAhli App ( Mobile Banking).
- Download Al Ahli App or visit alahlionline web portal. And, log in to your bank account.
- Tap on Sadad, then tap on “Absher Activation.”
- It will open the Activation Window. Tap on “Proceed”
- In the next window, Tap on Register.
- Finally, the window will again confirm your credentials, and you will receive a message upon successful activation.
Absher Activation Through Alahli Online Website.
- Visit alahlionline.com and login to your account.
- Click on “Sadad.” and then click on “Govt Payment and Refund.”
- on the Right side, you will see “Absher Activation Button” Click it, and it will open the activation window.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete registration.
You will receive a message upon successful Absher Account activation.
Absher Activation Using Alahli Phone Banking:
- Call at 920001000 (Alahli phone banking service) and provide the necessary information.
- Press 4 and then press 5 to complete the Absher activation.

Activate Absher Using Alahli ATM Machines.
- Ahahli ATMs have an option “Activate Abhser online e-service,” enter the service.
- Read terms and conditions, then select “Agree.” After that, confirm your mobile number and select “correct.”
