Find Border Number With Iqama Number

The expats who possess a resident permit (iqama) in Saudi Arabia, can find the border number by using any of the above methods.

By Visiting Jawazat Office

You can also visit Jawazat if you are unable to figure out the number. Visit the General Directorate of Passports office. Then go to the visa section and inquire about your border number. The officer will provide you with the required information immediately.

  1. If you can’t read the Arabic alphabet then ask a friend, colleague, or a family member who can read it.
  2. Re-check the visa number and its issuance date and reenter the details in Absher and repeat the process.
  3. In case, you are unable to access Absher, it might be due to excessive load on the system. Just wait for a few hours and then try again.
  4. If you are still unable to know the border number, contact the General Directorate of Passports by calling their helpline “992” or sending an email to “992@gdp.gov.sa
